PTA President's Message
August 2010
Dear Canyon Rim Families,
I hope you had a wonderful summer and are ready for another exciting year at Canyon Rim. I am looking forward to my second year as your PTA president and continuing our efforts to build upon our success.
This year our PTA meeting times have changed to accommodate our kindergarten and working parents. Our first meeting is Thursday, September 2nd, 8:15 AM in the Multipurpose Room. We also have three evening meetings planned throughout the year. I hope you are able to attend the PTA meetings and contribute your valuable input.
We also have several open Committee Chair and Executive Board positions which are listed below. You will receive a Parent Volunteer form in the Membership packet which will be sent home with your children on Monday, September 13th. If you are interested in helping PTA, I would be happy to talk with you and answer any questions you have regarding the open positions. Unless we fill these positions, some of these activities may have to be eliminated:

· Health and Safety
· Yearbook

On behalf of the entire PTA, I would like to thank you in advance for your continued support throughout the year. Our children have been positively impacted because of your hard work and dedication. I look forward to working with all of you in my last year as the PTA president and seeing everyone at Back to School Night on Thursday, September 16th at 6:00 PM.
