On Wednesdays, grades K-3 students would have an extra 5 minutes added to the recess to provide time to eat a large snack and play.
On Wednesdays, K-3 students would dismiss at 12:15PM to be picked up by parents. If after school day care is offered, a child could buy lunch and eat at the lunch tables. For those students not in day care, it is also acceptable for a child to buy lunch at school, eat at the lunch tables, and then be picked up by parents. At our neighboring schools, most children get picked up at dismissal time and eat lunch at home on Wednesdays.
